Brief What does Blythe want
Requirements: To be of a high quality (at least 1080p) to allow room for loss of quality when rendering into different formats for social media posting eg Tik Tok. High quality effects coherent timeline throughout the video. Additionally the video must be colour corrected to high standard to make certain colours pop and appear more vibrant on screen
This brief was sent during the research stage
Introduction
Going into my final major project for year 2 I found a client. I have already done work for this client in the summer break. I contacted him to see if he would be interested in another music video. He sent me a folder of some of his unreleased songs. One song stood out to me but I want to use the collection of songs and create 3 ideas for 3 songs and pitch these ideas to him
Before the Project
I have been thinking about my FMP for a very long time so I put some notes on a document and came back to it now. I really like the the animation style idea and the school music video and going to explore these more.
Story Ideas
This Mind I created quickly as I wanted to spend some time on ideas for story and while listening to song 1 I came up with some ideas and what I thought could work is a breakup story. I changed my mind over the next day to a story about trying to falling in love and I like this new idea more
Contacting Blxthe
After contacting blxthe he sent me google drive folder of all the songs he has unreleased but also told me that he may want to change the song to something that wont be on there so I'm going to use the songs to come up with ideas to pitch to Blythe.

I Decided to make a document that I could write down my thoughts on the songs and what ideas and other artists came to mind. And a Initial Ideas document for what the music video could include
First Ideas
On the first day of the project I put down all my ideas into a slide. This is important as it gives me an area to look at to help my mood board and other ideas development. It was the first step to refining ideas for the project
Song exploration
This was really useful for me as it allowed me to keep notes on all the songs I like or dislike. Im going to go with song 3. But also staying aware the song may change.

I next made a mood board for what shots effects transitions locations a board for each componant.
Mood Boards Thoughts
This Mood board was helpful for me to see what the video could be like its look location and what effects to help me create some ideas to present hopefully to Blythe.

My favourite idea is the rotoscoping emojis or small characters and I think this is the perfect way to push myself in FMP. I also have experience with this rotoscoping from year 1 in the course
When we did the demo on rotoscoping this is what I made it took about 2 hours and I going to do another demo to figure the animations I'm going to make on the production and how to to sync in into premiere
2 songs
I like song 1 and song 3 and I'm going to make a SWOT analysis along with an idea for each to help decide which one I want to do.
Conclusion
In conclusion I'm going to go ahead with song 1 . It is my original favourite and I think has the most creativity and will push me more. I like the story idea and I am going to go ahead developing that story.
